One of the best overall exercises anyone can engage in is swimming, but many people find it boring to swim laps. Going back and forth in the pool does not excite their imagination, and they often find it to be a chore. Rather than trying to do the traditional laps many have used to get fit, swimming with a friend or in a group of friends can be a great way to get in shape while leaving the boredom behind.

For those in need of a muscle makeover, playing games in the water can be a great path to fitness. Instead of swimming back and forth, they can start by tossing a ball back and forth with a friend. As their muscles become acclimated to the movement, they can eventually start playing water polo or similar games. It can be a fun way to get exercise and show off those newly earned muscles.
